Category D
Age: 24+ & for D1 21+

WHAT YOU CAN DRIVE
Category D1: Vehicles designed and built to carry up to 16 passengers, excluding the driver, with a maximum length of 8 m.

Category D: Vehicles designed and built to carry more than eight (8) passengers, excluding the driver. Vehicles in categories D1 and D may be combined with a trailer whose maximum authorized mass does not exceed 750 kg.

LESSONS

Theory: 15 lessons of 45 minutes

Practical:
6 lessons of 45 minutes if you hold a C1 or C license and are upgrading to D or D1 / 2 lessons of 45 minutes if you hold a D1 license and are upgrading to D

Category DE
Age: 21+ & for D1E 18+

WHAT YOU CAN DRIVE
Category D1E: Vehicle combinations consisting of a towing vehicle of category D1 and a trailer with a maximum authorized mass over 750 kg.

Category DE: Combinations of coupled vehicles consisting of a towing vehicle in category D and a trailer whose maximum authorized mass exceeds 750 kg.

LESSONS

Theory: Not required

Practical: 10 lessons of 45 minutes
